Controller and contact
The controller is the person or company operating MicroportMap. Its verified contact details have not yet been provided. Rights requests will need a working operator email before this policy can be considered complete.
Data processed
- Website traffic: the hosting provider Vercel may process IP addresses, request timestamps and technical logs for delivery, reliability and security.
- Local searches: map filtering, searches and CSV exports run in your browser; the current website does not upload those searches to a MicroportMap database.
- Suggestion form: prepares text for copying locally. It does not submit a suggestion to a server.
- Map preference: one local-storage setting keeps your basic versus interactive map choice.
- Optional external content: enabling the interactive map requests Leaflet resources from unpkg and map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receive network metadata.
Purpose, legal basis and retention
Technical website data is used to provide and protect the requested service, subject to confirmation of the operator's legitimate-interest assessment and any other applicable legal basis. A browser map preference remains until changed or browser storage is cleared. The owner must confirm Vercel log retention and international transfer details before finalizing this notice. We do not currently add marketing or analytics tracking.
Providers and rights
Vercel hosts the website. Optional map resources come from OpenStreetMap and unpkg. Their own privacy policies apply to their requests. Under the GDPR, where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction, object to certain uses, and lodge a complaint with a competent authority such as the AEPD. A working controller contact channel must still be added.
